Commonly known as the Purgatory Correction, this Washington County Correction Facility is an 84,000-square foot, Design-Build, Sheriff’s Office and Jail. The facility is made up of four major areas being, the Sheriff’s Offices, detention spaces, intake and processing area, and space for support services. The jail was designed to house 427 inmates in medium and minimum security areas. Wilkinson Electric was involved in this Design-Build project in the late 90’s along with the close relations of Royal Engineering who engineered the electrical on the project.
