LDS Philanthropies is a department of the Office of the Presiding Bishopric of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The purpose of the LDS Philanthropies is to correlate, encourage and facilitate donations to the church’s institutions of higher education (including BYU) and other charitable efforts (such as Humanitarian Services and the Perpetual Education Fund).
The construction of the new three-story, 34,500-square foot building located in Provo, Utah houses the professional fund-raising and support staff for the LDS Church and BYU. It is an eye-catching structure with its smooth, straight lines, modern design and unique metal-panel parapet above its roofline. It has an exterior steel frame that is clad in an elegant combination and glass. The interior was designed to accommodate office space, conference rooms, washrooms, work/copy rooms, filing rooms, break rooms and a state-of-the-art call center.
