The recreation facility was 68,000-square foot project includes three full size gymnasiums, elevated jogging track, areas for fitness/weight training, aerobic/dance room, dividable multipurpose/conference rooms, locker rooms, police/security offices, recreation management offices, storage, and lobby area. The building also encompasses a senior citizens center with a large meeting room, dividable activity rooms, lounge, kitchen, management offices, and restrooms.

The Aquatics aspects of the Rec Center comprise of an indoor/outdoor Myrtha Technologies Ceramic 1 pool. The pool includes a 25-meter pool, eight-land competition pool, 9,000-square foot leisure pool, splash pool and deck, and hot tub. The southern exposure has an operable translucent panel system at the walls and roof to create indoor/outdoor space and provide for air flow in the summer months.
