The state-of-the-art St. George Airport Replacement consisted of the construction of a 34,000-square foot Terminal to expand the municipal airport. The facility is built on more than 1,200 acres and features two 50-foot wide parallel taxiways to accommodate regional jet aircraft to include 737s and Airbus 319s.

The new 2-story building was located in a remote area approximately 10 miles from the nearest utility at the time of construction which added to one of the challenges that needed to be overcome. Generators were furnished to see this project through and other utilities were needed to include satellite communications, pumps, and water trucks.
